The Oasis Ball is all about celebrating our industry, and raising money for The Oasis Project.
An initiative of the Western Australian advertising, media and communications industry that provides support to the Salvation Army’s Crossroads West programme.
This is a special programme run by the Salvos for young people whose home lives are severely disrupted by their parents or guardians alcohol and drug addiction, physical abuse or abandonment. The focus of the Oasis project is Oasis House in Mirrabooka, but funds raised support a range of initiatives aimed at giving these young people a safe and stable environment in the first instance, and help them make the transition to independent living.
Based on the latest health advice, upgraded public health and social measures will be introduced state-wide from 12:01am, Thursday 3 March. This announcement affects the current date of the Oasis Ball, Friday 8th April, with regards to density and capacity limits. To ensure the health and safety of our industry, The Oasis Ball Committee has decided to shift the date of the event to Friday 24th June 2022. It will still be held at Crown Towers in the ballroom.
For participants who have already purchased tickets, your tickets will be valid for the new date. For participants who have purchased accommodation at Crown Towers at the special Oasis Ball accommodation rate, your booking will be transferred.
